What will I be doing?

In our industry we are helping customers with their pest control needs, this includes general pest, termites, and other specialty pests. As a customer calls into the office they may need a Professional Inspector to go to their home to do an inspection. The majority of these calls will be for termite inspections, but not limited to general pest control and other specialty pests.

Professional Inspector will arrive to the office and receive their route with leads that are provided mainly from the office. The company provides 90% of the leads for our Professional Inspectors. You would then meet with homeowners throughout the day at their timed appointments and you would perform a quality inspection by measuring the home, and inspect mainly for termites, but not limited to general pest control and other specialty pests. These visits could also be for a termite warranty. You would then will provide a customer with a proposal for our company to come out to treat their home, this would include advising the customers of your inspection findings. This proposal would include preparations of a complete and accurate graph, appropriate treatment specifications, and correct pricing.

This is a consulting sales role as we are providing a solution for the homeowner, and this is not a high-pressured sales position. You will receive extensive training so you can effectively implement our proven sales process. We will also provide all the technical training and product training necessary to properly assess and address client needs.

  • Frequently work is performed outdoors 60-80% of the time.
  • Able to lift, push and pull equipment, bend, squat, crawl, reach, climb over and on top of structures, ascend and descend stairs and ladders and occasionally work at heights.
  • Use application equipment, inspection equipment, small hand tools, small power tools and personal protective equipment.

You enjoy being outdoors

  • Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, hot and/or dusty locations since the majority of your day is spent outdoors.

What Qualifications a Potential Candidate Needs to Have

  • Professional Inspector experience with Pest Management Department Licensing is preferred, but not required
  • Sales experience is preferred, but not required
  • You must have a valid driver's license that is not currently suspended or revoked.
  • You are working effectively at our customers’ homes and you want to be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test and ongoing random drug tests.
